Motor Transmission & Pump Services  (MTP) are skilled at both rewinding and repairing electric motors, a service that we have been providing for over 33 years.

We also supply and repair pumps and industrial gearboxes, transformers, generators, control gear and clutch / brake units.

We assume that every job is urgent, as in over 34 years of business we have found that it normally is!

If you don’t have the facilities to remove or commission a motor or pump we have a specialist on site team to take care of that for you. In fact, we can assist you with your on site routine maintenance with anything from laser alignment to simple carbon brush changes.

We sell and refurbish mechanical seals, supply carbon brushes, motor capacitors, motor fan cowls, motor cooling fans, gasket paper and other ancillary items.

As well as a large range of 3 phase and single phase motors we now also stock a wide range of bearings, chain and belts to make your life easier!

We fabricate using large bandsaws, chop saws, radial arm drills, a 2100mm brake press and welders.

A large 75 tonne press makes easy work of shaft removals etc.

We have 3D printing capabilities to ensure that we can make the ‘irreplaceable’ plastic parts that can break.

We can make you new cooling fans, terminal box lids etc. Three printers are constantly on the go printing a maximum of 450x450x470mm .stl files, which we can design for you.

We have vapour blasting and a pressured sand blasting machine to ensure all parts are cleaned properly before jobs are assembled.

We also take external parts for cleaning on an ad hoc basis, if you need our vapour or sand blasting services, please contact us.

If you need it, we will aim to supply it to you as fast as possible at a competitive price.

Our aim is to be the first port of call for industrial engineers wanting to purchase units or get advice or technical information on the electric motors, pumps, gearboxes and mechanical seals they use in their manufacturing processes.

We have vast experience in sourcing motors, pumps, gearboxes and associated equipment. If we don’t have the part in stock our extensive supply chain will have the ability to source the item without delay.

MTP Services is a privately owned engineering business, based and servicing industries in Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. We mail order all over the country.

We have a waiting room so that you can be comfortable when you visit, well….. pre-covid at least!

Our vans visit Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Ross and the Forest of Dean every weekday.
